Loans
A loan is a form of financial aid that must be repaid with interest. The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) must be completed to obtain the following loans:
-
Federal Perkins Loans are low interest (5%) loans for both undergraduate and graduate students with exceptional financial need. These loans are awarded and processed by the school.
-
Federal Stafford Loans are low interest government backed loans which can be used to pay higher education expenses.
-
Federal PLUS Loans are loans available to eligible parents or stepparents of a dependent undergraduate student. These loans require a credit check. The parent is the borrower and is responsible for repaying the loan.
-
