Admissions Process
- Complete an application for admission and scholarship.
Be sure to answer all items on the application to assist in determining your admission, residency, and scholarship eligibility.
- Submit the completed application with a $30 nonrefundable processing fee for U.S. citizens to the admissions office before school starts.
Make your check or money order payable to Weber State University.
Please do not mail cash.
Note: First-time freshmen and transfer students will be sent a current catalog upon completion of the admission process.

Scholarship Process
Students who complete the admissions application process will be considered for all available scholarships.
- Complete the admission process prior to the following deadlines.
Complete all questions on the application for full scholarship consideration.
- February 1: New freshmen scholarship application deadline
- March 1: Transfer student scholarship application priority deadline
- It is important that students create a Wildcat e-mail account.
Scholarship selection committees may request, or convey, additional information through your Wildcat mail.
Note: To receive priority consideration for need-based scholarships, you must submit the EFC number (Expected Family Contribution) to the scholarship office by March 1st prior to the year you plan to attend.
You obtain the EFC number by completing the
Free Application for Student Aid (FAFSA).
You should begin the FAFSA application process at least 2 weeks prior to March 1st to allow sufficient time for processing your documents by the Federal Government Processor.
Financial Aid Process
- Complete the admissions process.
- Complete and return both the Federal (FAFSA) and Weber State financial aid applications to the financial aid office.
A copy of your 1040 form and/or your parent's 1040 form may be needed.
- Request a financial aid transcript from every postsecondary institution you have attended, whether or not you completed courses or applied for financial aid at that institution.
Financial aid transcripts are available only through the financial aid office.
Note: All forms must be received in the Financial Aid Office by March 1 for you to receive priority consideration for need-based aid.
